A vision of a star hanging like fruit from a branch of the tree of life. It was the end of time, and I was seeing the tree in a circular ashen plane or vast volcanic cauldron. Around the tree were two rivers of blood, one coming from the right, one from the left, intertwining about each other three and a half times each, clockwise, merging, and flowing up the tree to feed the star. A silent voice of a god referred to the two rivers as (combined) "the blood of the suffering of all men and all women," which fed the light of the star and made it brighter.

Re-Genesis From a Papaya-Half

As seen sitting on my kitchen counter, with cheese grater. Darkness bursts from the center of a papaya, orgasms, & ejaculates all fauna, including humans and gods.

Tree + Roots

Done with watercolor pencils provided at an art workshop at the Union Hotel where I live. I must have been obsessing about roots that day.

My Blue Friend

A painting I made for home. My Blue Friend decorates my room; he peers out over my left shoulder when I sit at the computer. He's acrylic, 16" by 20".

Hangdog

How I see myself sometimes, usually when I'm feeling dejected. The second of two cards (see previous post) done with black ballpoint pen.
